A Royal Return to Nottingham

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are officially back in their element. On October 15, the couple stepped out for their first official joint appearance since moving back to the U.K. nearly two months ago. The duo headed to Nottingham, England, to visit the Community Recording Studio (CRS), a local charity that gives young people access to music and pro recording gear. It’s giving wholesome energy, no cap.

Meghan served a serious look in an all-burgundy fit featuring a turtleneck, belted skirt, and wool coat. Harry kept it casual and cool in dark jeans, a crisp white button-down, and a gray blazer. They spent the day chatting with students, taking selfies, and collecting bouquets. When one fan showed the Duchess a photo from their 2017 visit to the same area, she was all about the nostalgia, telling the crowd, “It’s good to be back,” and calling the throwback, “That’s so special.”

The New Normal

Since moving back in late August, the Sussex family has been keeping it lowkey while getting settled. They’ve been busy enrolling Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, in local school. Harry told HELLO! Magazine in September that the transition has been "eventful" but he’s just happy to be back on British soil, especially with his charity, the Invictus Games.

Real talk: don't get it twisted, they aren't back as senior royals. The palace has made it clear that their status hasn't changed and they are effectively operating as private citizens with their own commercial and charitable interests. The plot thickens for their next move, but for now, the family seems to be thriving. The vibes are officially immaculate.
