Strive’s massive Bitcoin bag
Strive is lowkey climbing the leaderboard, officially becoming the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder. According to a Tuesday SEC filing, the company managed to stack 3,311 BTC in the week ending October 9. This brings their total holdings to a staggering 32,773 BTC.
The math behind the move is simple but aggressive. Strive investors exercised $208 million in warrants, providing the capital for these buys. CEO Matt Cole noted on X that about 15.3 million warrants were still left before their Tuesday deadline.
Growth check
It’s giving major 'buy the dip' energy, but with a structural twist. Strive’s Bitcoin reserves actually grew by 11.2% last week, which outpaced their 9.4% increase in share count. This is a W for existing shareholders, as it means their personal exposure to the BTC stash effectively increased despite the new shares being issued.
Strive also dropped a new rule for their SATA preferred shares, setting a $100 minimum issuance price to keep their equity game in check. These shares were hovering around $99.40 on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Strive (ASST) stock stayed pretty flat at $27.52.
The Saylor stamp of approval
Even industry legend Michael Saylor is watching. He gave Strive a shoutout on X, noting that their strategy—converting demand for digital equity into demand for actual Bitcoin—is accelerating adoption. Strategy, of course, remains the big boss of corporate treasuries with 848,250 BTC in its own vault.
Why it matters
Strive is essentially betting big on the treasury model pioneered by Strategy, using equity to fuel a massive Bitcoin accumulation loop. As always, remember that corporate treasury moves aren't financial advice, and the volatility of the market is real—stay safe out there.
