The New Arrivals
Get ready to binge, because ITV Studios just dropped their new drama slate at Mipcom and the vibes are high. The headliner is definitely First Woman, a lunar thriller that sounds absolutely wild—it’s about a female astronaut who just straight-up goes missing on the moon. It’s packing a heavy-hitting cast including Andrea Riseborough, Ashley Walters, Alex Hassell, and Jennifer Ehle.
Then there’s Number 10, a new project from Sherlock mastermind Steven Moffat. It’s a witty drama set in one of the most famous buildings on the planet and features an all-star cast like Rafe Spall, Jenna Coleman, and Katherine Kelly. We also have Winter, a procedural about a brilliant but unconventional pathologist in Bristol played by Richard Armitage, and The Party, a suspenseful adaptation of Elizabeth Day’s novel starring Luke Evans and Tom Cullen.
The Return of the Icons
If you prefer your faves, don't worry. The seventh season of the massive police drama Line of Duty is locked in, bringing back Martin Compston, Vicky McClure, and Adrian Dunbar, with Robert Carlyle joining the chaos. Vigil is heading to the Arctic Circle for its third installment, and Karen Pirie is coming back for more cold-case drama. Plus, the hit detective series Ludwig is officially returning for a third season.
Oh, and for the Sherlock girlies—all four original seasons are officially joining the ITV Studios sales catalog.
