Real talk: Caitlin Clark is playing in a different dimension right now. In a do-or-die Game 2 on Tuesday, she absolutely ate, dropping 27 points, 15 assists, and seven rebounds to lead the Indiana Fever to a 99-89 victory over the reigning champion Las Vegas Aces. She was shooting 9-for-18 from the field, including 5-for-11 from downtown. It’s giving main character energy, no cap.
Clark made history by becoming the first player in WNBA history to record a 25-point, 15-assist game. She was directly responsible for 58 of the Fever's 99 points—which is tied for the most points created in any playoff game ever. Her 15 assists also tied for the third-most in a single WNBA playoff game. Even though she fouled out with 2:45 remaining and caught a technical foul, her impact was undeniable.
The Big Three Takeover
The Fever's win wasn't just a solo show. Kelsey Mitchell chipped in 26 points, and Aliyah Boston added 22 points, four rebounds, and five assists. That trio combined for 75 of Indiana's 99 points. When the Aces cut the lead to 92-87 late in the fourth, Boston locked in with a clutch bucket, and Mitchell iced the game from the free-throw line.
For the Aces, Jackie Young dropped a game-high 31 points, while four-time MVP A'ja Wilson added 22 points and nine rebounds. However, the Aces’ offense looked shaky compared to their 102-point blowout in Game 1.

This win forces a winner-take-all Game 3 in Las Vegas this Thursday. The Fever have officially kept their season alive, and with Clark playing this level of basketball, the stakes for the decider are highkey astronomical.
