The group didn't stick around to explain themselves—they dipped as soon as they surfaced, splitting into two different vehicles and heading north.
According to the NYPD, they got a 911 call about a possible crime around 4:35 a.m. By the time officers arrived, the mystery trio was long gone. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is still active.
