The WR injury report is mid

Real talk: the WR position is absolutely decimated right now. With studs dealing with injuries, your depth is lowkey being tested. If your bench is looking thin, it’s giving panic, but there are definitely some pivots you can make off the waiver wire to keep your season alive.

The injury situation

Ja'Marr Chase is dealing with a concussion and Tee Higgins has a groin issue, and both missed Wednesday practice. If they sit, look at Dohnte Meyers for a spot start against Miami. Meanwhile, keep an eye on D.J. Moore’s shoulder status. If he can’t go against the Rams, Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir are your go-to depth plays.

More moves to make

If Ladd McConkey’s foot keeps him sidelined, Tre Harris is the move for your three-receiver league against Denver. Also, if Terry McLaurin is out with that hamstring injury, Antonio Williams is ready to step up against the Giants.

The hype check

I’m a bit hesitant on Darius Cooper against the Jaguars in London, but he absolutely ate in Week 4 with two TDs against the Rams. Also, keep tabs on Roman Wilson against Indy and Malik Washington against Cincinnati; both are playing well and could be clutch if you’re desperate.

Why it matters

Injuries happen, but winning your league is about being proactive. Don't let a depleted roster ruin your momentum—these backups are hungry and could be the difference between a W and an L this week.
