The Main Event Energy
It’s time for the absolute chaos of WWE Money in the Bank. Tonight in New Orleans, the stakes are sky-high. The winners of the iconic ladder matches walk away with a guaranteed world title shot that they can cash in whenever they want for the next year. Talk about main character energy.
The Ladder Match Lineups
The men’s ladder match is completely stacked. We’ve got Bron Breakker, Je'Von Evans, Penta, Trick Williams, CM Punk, and Kevin Owens all fighting to unhook that briefcase. CM Punk, a two-time winner, is highkey the one to watch after taking down Finn Balor and Gunther to qualify. The women’s side is bringing the same heat, featuring Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez, Jacy Jayne, Lash Legend, and Tiffany Stratton.
The Title Fights
Roman Reigns (c) is putting his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against LA Knight after Knight crashed his post-Raw party to settle some unfinished business. Meanwhile, the Women’s World Championship match is still taking shape—Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan have to scrap it out first to see who earns the right to face champion Stephanie Vaquer.
Grudge Match: Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed
Oba Femi is ready to remind the world why he’s “The Ruler” as he goes head-to-head with the powerhouse Bronson Reed. After weeks of run-ins, including that brutal beatdown by Reed and Breakker last month, Femi is finally getting his hands on him. Say less.
Why it matters
This event is the ultimate season shifter. Whoever walks out with those briefcases holds the future of WWE in their hands for the next 12 months, and tonight’s results are going to set the tone for the rest of the year.
