Created by the legendary Lucas Paraizo, the original series is lowkey iconic for how it captures the chaos of human relationships. It centers on two neighboring couples who absolutely spiral after their teenage sons get into a fight. What starts as a small disagreement quickly turns into an all-out war fueled by a total lack of communication. The project is currently filming in Greece, featuring a stacked ensemble cast including Maria Nafpliotou, Charis Fragulis, Nikos Psarras, and Paschalis Terzis. It’s part of a deal between Brazilian media powerhouse Globo and Greece’s Alpha TV.
Paraizo himself actually stopped by the set to see the action firsthand, specifically geeking out over a major scene where the main characters, Cibele and Wando, face off. He’s a self-proclaimed fan of Avranas, so the creative energy on this one is highkey immaculate.
