The Strategy

Strive is looking to stack more sats, announcing a fresh capital raise of $500 million. The plan? They’re issuing a new perpetual preferred stock, dubbed "SATS," which comes with a 15% fixed dividend. The company is aiming to sell 5 million of these shares at $100 a pop.

Where the funds go

If you're wondering what the move is, Strive says the proceeds are earmarked for purchasing more Bitcoin, snagging income-producing assets, or potential stock buybacks. This new SATS class will sit junior to the firm’s existing perpetual preferred stock, SATA, which currently carries a variable 13% rate. To keep the vibes right, Strive is setting up a dividend reserve to cover the first 18 months of payments for SATS holders.

The current hoard

Strive has been on a serious accumulation streak recently. Just last week, they picked up 3,311 BTC, bringing their total treasury to 32,773 coins—worth about $2.7 billion. To put that in perspective, they were holding under 20,000 coins only three months ago. While they are moving fast, remember that crypto markets are inherently volatile and this is definitely not financial advice. DYOR before chasing the bag.

Why it matters

Strive is distinguishing itself from other Bitcoin treasury plays by aggressively growing its holdings at a rapid clip, signaling high conviction in their long-term strategy.
