The Camp Half-Blood squad is going global
Get ready to pack your bags because the cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is officially heading to Italy. Disney+ just announced that the team is hitting up the Lucca Comics and Games Festival, and the vibes are going to be immaculate.
Stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri are set to attend, alongside co-creator/EP Jonathan E. Steinberg and executive producer Dan Shotz. They’re holding a dedicated panel, and word on the street is that they’re dropping some previously unseen footage. It’s giving main character energy, and we are seated.
What to expect in Season 3
We’re finally getting the adaptation of The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s iconic series. The plot thickens as Percy and Grover work to save Annabeth and the goddess Artemis from the Titan Atlas. Plus, we’ve got new faces joining the cast, including Dafne Keen as Artemis and Holt McCallany as Atlas.
The Lucca experience
Lucca Comics and Games is lowkey a dream location, held inside the 16th-century walls of a Tuscan town. It’s a total geek-culture mecca that draws over 200,000 fans every year. The event runs from Oct. 28 to Nov. 1, and it’s basically become the place to be for studios pushing their biggest projects in Europe.
