The ultimate camping upgrade

If the sound of gas generators ruins your camping vibe, the 2027 Pebble Flow is here to save the day. While the camper scene has been slow to fully embrace electrification, the latest iteration of the Pebble Flow is leaning hard into a future where your trailer is basically a giant, mobile battery pack on wheels.

Serious power and solar gains

At the center of the build is a massive 45 kWh LFP battery. For 2027, Pebble is significantly bumping up the solar capabilities. You can now pull in up to 4 kW of energy thanks to a combination of roof-mounted and portable panels. The company claims this setup can generate more juice than you’ll realistically use in an average day.

What’s lowkey the coolest feature? The system is bidirectional. It can output up to 12 kW, meaning you can use the trailer to charge your EV if you’re running low on range. It also features DC fast charging, getting you from 0–80% in under an hour.

Self-driving trailer energy

This trailer is straight-up futuristic. It uses an Nvidia Orin processor and a suite of cameras to handle the annoying parts of camping. It can couple itself to your hitch, and you can maneuver the trailer into a parking spot remotely using an iPad app. It can even handle the "gross" stuff—you can remotely trigger the dumping process for the black water tank.

Plus, the trailer features in-wheel electric motors that help while towing. For 2027, they’ve added a boost mode that provides 54 hp (40 kW) of assistance to make the tow feel way lighter.

Why it matters

Real talk: this thing is a massive flex. With a starting price of $159,000 for the 'Magic Pack' and $189,000 for the 'Founders Edition,' it’s definitely not a budget buy. But for those who want to ditch the noise and smell of gas generators, it’s giving a serious glimpse into what the future of luxury off-grid living looks like.
