The K-pop expansion we needed

Listen up, besties. HYBE—the absolute legends behind BTS, TXT, SEVENTEEN, LE SSERAFIM, and ENHYPEN—is officially taking their flagship music event, Weverse Con Festival, international. For the first time ever, the festival is leaving South Korea and heading to New Delhi, India, on March 27–28, 2027.

What to expect

HYBE is promising a mix of global icons, K-pop stars, and local Indian talent. While the full lineup is currently MIA, the two-day event is designed to be a total "multi-genre" experience. It’s giving main character energy for the Indian music scene, which has been leveling up lately with major tours from artists like Dua Lipa and upcoming stops by Fred Again and Guns N’ Roses.

HYBE CEO Jason Jaesang Lee said in a statement that this is a key move for their global growth, aiming to blend HYBE’s massive capabilities with India’s incredible creativity.

The background noise

This isn't HYBE’s first rodeo in India. They already have a base in Mumbai, where they've been running nationwide auditions to form a new global girl group. If you're trying to snag a spot, keep an eye on BookMyShow, which will be the exclusive home for ticket sales. Stay tuned—we’re lowkey waiting for that lineup drop to see who’s making the cut.

Why it matters

India is becoming a massive player in the global live music circuit, and HYBE’s decision to plant roots there proves the market is officially ready for the big leagues. It's a huge W for fans who want to see their favorite global acts on home turf.
