A legendary reunion

If you were at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Monday night, consider yourself lucky. Hayley Williams, our queen of the pop-punk scene, brought out EDM royalty Zedd for an unexpected performance that honestly had us all shook. The two teamed up to perform their 2012 banger “Stay the Night” for the first time in 12 years.

The vibes were stripped-back

Forget the heavy synths of the original track. This version was a whole mood, with Zedd holding it down on the piano while Hayley absolutely devoured the vocals. It was raw, it was emotional, and it was a total serve. It’s giving main character energy, no cap.

Why it matters

For the OGs, this performance was a huge throwback. “Stay the Night” was a massive moment in Zedd's career back in the day, helping cement his status after the success of Clarity. Hayley has been sprinkling these nostalgic gems throughout The Hayley Williams Show tour, like when she brought out Rico Nasty for “Airplanes” in New York last month. Catch her finishing up her LA run at the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday before she jets off to South America, Australia, and Europe in 2027.
