The reality star, who became a staple of the genre through appearances on Too Hot to Handle, Perfect Match, and most recently Let’s Marry Harry, announced his retirement on the blue carpet at the 2026 MTV VMAs on Sept. 27.

Speaking to E! News’ Keltie Knight, Harry shared that while he appreciates the viewers—whether they were fans or critics—he’s ready to move on. "No more dating shows for me—fully retired. Love my girl," he noted, signaling he’s off the market.

A new chapter

This retirement comes fresh off the heels of his high-profile split from Amber Mozo, whom he had a non-legal wedding with during the Let’s Marry Harry finale before their relationship crashed and burned at the reunion. While Harry is keeping the identity of his new partner under wraps, he’s already spilling the tea on why it’s different this time around. He credits his new girlfriend's "patience and her ambition" for the shift, adding that she has a healthy understanding of how to handle his chaotic public love life: "Just having her be like, 'I get it. All good. Stop being an idiot.'"

Not leaving the spotlight entirely

Don’t panic—you aren't losing Harry from your TV queue just yet. The 29-year-old isn't quitting reality television altogether. He is set to appear in the new competition series The Mob, which hits Hulu on Oct. 26. Harry mentioned he’s already finished filming and is "praying" the experience goes a lot better than his recent dating show endeavors.
