The big movers
Week 5 was absolute fire for some, but lowkey a nightmare for others. If you’re looking to shake up your fantasy squad, you need to track who’s actually getting the touches.
The winners: Stevenson and Marks
Rhamondre Stevenson is officially him. With TreVeyon Henderson sidelined, Stevenson stepped up, averaging 4.9 yards per carry and snagging a touchdown. He’s locked in for passing downs and goal-line work. His upcoming schedule against the Jets, Bears, Dolphins, Packers, Lions, Chargers, and Bills is highkey friendly. He’s an RB2 with RB1 potential—don't sleep on him.
Woody Marks also ate this week. With David Montgomery out, Marks took over the Texans' backfield and finally brought some real rushing efficiency to the table. The coaching staff is clearly vibing with him, and he’s expected to keep a major role even when Montgomery returns.
The losers: Bears and Chase Brown
The plot thickens for the Chicago Bears. Caleb Williams’ return is great for the team, but his chaotic, feast-or-famine play style is killing his pass-catchers' fantasy value. If you’re banking on Luther Burden III or Rome Odunze, the energy is off.
Then there’s Chase Brown. Real talk: it’s time to lower your expectations. He’s struggled to hit double-digit PPR points and didn't even lead the Bengals in carries against the Dolphins. With a tough schedule ahead, he’s looking like a flex option at best.
Why it matters
Fantasy seasons are won on the waiver wire and smart lineup adjustments. With injuries forcing new players into the spotlight, these shifts in workload are the key to staying ahead of the competition and securing that W.
