The game of shadows intensifies
If you thought the drama was peaking, the latest episode of The Celebrity Traitors just said, "Hold my drink." The Traitors—Maya Jama, James Acaster, and recent recruit Prof Hannah Fry—have officially entered their villain era. Their latest target? The Last of Us actor Bella Ramsey.
After Ramsey failed to show up for breakfast, the cast was left spiraling. The Traitors openly admitted that taking out Ramsey was a strategic power move to stop a major "threat" from organizing the Faithfuls. Lowkey, they’re playing 4D chess while everyone else is playing checkers.
A haunted mission and 'salty bin juice'
The cast took a field trip to a creepy, graveside cabin for a mission that was giving major horror movie energy. Led by Michael Sheen, the group had to channel their inner ghost hunters to retrieve toys and wedding attire. The vibes were off, to say the least. Romesh Ranganathan let out a literal scream, and Sebastian Croft had to stick his head into a toilet in a moment that felt like a chaotic I'm a Celebrity flashback. To top it off, the group had to swallow wine described as "salty bin juice." Iconic, honestly.
The roundtable downfall
The heat was on Julie Hesmondhalgh at the latest roundtable. Despite being voted the most trustworthy player early on, she couldn't escape the paranoia. After an intense debate—featuring Joe Lycett casually pitching himself to be recruited as a Traitor—the group voted to banish Hesmondhalgh. She revealed she was a Faithful, leaving the group shook. Meanwhile, James Blunt, who aggressively led the charge against her, is now lowkey looking sus, as his track record for guessing correctly is officially non-existent.
The plot thickens
Just when you thought the episode was wrapping, the show dropped a fresh twist: a high-stakes game of "killer hide-and-seek." Four contestants—Ross Kemp, Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock—have been chosen to face whatever nightmare the producers have cooked up. The Traitors are staying out of the fray for this one, but they're definitely lurking.
Why it matters
As the number of players dwindles, the paranoia is reaching a fever pitch. With the Traitors successfully picking off high-profile "threats" like Bella Ramsey and the Faithfuls banishing their own allies, the game is becoming a masterclass in psychological warfare. It’s giving total main character energy, and honestly, we’re obsessed.
