Mother-son bonding in Tennessee
Britney Spears is officially entering her theme park era. The singer recently took a trip to Dollywood—the iconic Tennessee attraction founded by Dolly Parton—and she brought her two sons, Sean Preston Federline, 21, and Jayden James Federline, 20, along for the ride. It’s giving wholesome family energy, and honestly, we love to see it.
Britney posted a cute update on Instagram Oct. 7, sharing a snap of herself with the boys in front of the Dollywood sign. She was clearly vibing with the park, writing, “Wow wow!!! I didn’t know this place existed, so incredibly cool and exciting.”
The Scrambler struggle
Of course, no trip to a theme park is complete without hopping on a ride that makes you question your life choices. Britney and Jayden decided to tackle the Scrambler, and the footage is highkey hilarious.
In a video from the trip, you can see the duo strapped in as the ride kicks off. Britney, 44, kept it real while the ride started spinning, shouting, “I’m feel kinda sick now. I’m gonna throw up, dude.” Meanwhile, Jayden was totally unbothered, acting like he could’ve stayed on the ride for another hour.
Growing up
While Sean and Jayden are all grown up now, the trio still makes time for these sweet outings. Both brothers have been carving out their own paths lately. Jayden recently opened up to Interview about the pressure of growing up in the spotlight, saying that "seeking approval" from others is a major L.
Preston is also doing his own thing; while he’s dabbled in modeling, he told Vogue in July that he isn't trying to make it his full-time gig, noting that “music is the foundation of everything” for him. It’s wild to see how much they’ve grown, but they’re clearly still close with their mom.
Why it matters
Seeing Britney prioritize family time is a total W. It’s a reminder that even after decades in the limelight, she’s still just a mom wanting to make memories with her kids—even if it means risking a little motion sickness at a theme park.
