UFC heads to Canada
The octagon is touching down in Edmonton for UFC Fight Night, and the main event is high-key lit. Canadian fighter Mike Malott is back to headline for the second time, aiming to take down Joaquin Buckley and secure a spot in the welterweight top 10. Malott is coming off a massive win against Gilbert Burns, while Buckley is looking to lock in a win after dropping his last two matches. The co-main event also brings the heat with Canada’s own Jasmine Jasudavicius facing off against Erin Blanchfield in a major flyweight clash.
Abu Dhabi and MSG take center stage
The schedule is packed tight. Just weeks after UFC 332, the promotion lands in Abu Dhabi for UFC 333, and it’s giving main character energy. Alexander Volkanovski is putting his featherweight belt on the line against Movsar Evloev, plus we’re getting the epic trilogy fight between Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili for the bantamweight title.
By November, the action moves to Madison Square Garden for a massive card. Heavyweight champ Ciryl Gane is set to defend his gold against Josh Hokit. If that wasn't enough, we are finally getting the long-awaited showdown between women’s bantamweight champ Kayla Harrison and the legend Amanda Nunes.
Why it matters
This stretch is absolutely crucial for the 2026 rankings. With multiple titles on the line and rising stars fighting to climb the top 10, the landscape of the UFC is about to look very different by the time we hit December. It’s a W for fight fans.
