For those who haven't caught the vibe, the Spirit Tunnel is where Jennifer Hudson's staff lines a hallway at Warner Bros. Studio 1 to sing a customized song for every guest. Cruise, who told Hudson he’s a lowkey fan of the show, was greeted by a chorus of producers rocking black sunglasses and singing a remix of Bob Seger’s 'Old Time Rock and Roll.'
The Risky Business throwback
In a move that is pure nostalgia gold, the song choice was a direct callback to Cruise’s 1983 breakout in Risky Business. As the crew sang, "We’ve got Tom Cruise rock and roll," the star pulled out his own pair of black Ray-Bans and started sliding into the groove. He even pulled some of the staff into the dance, proving he’s just as dedicated to a hallway musical number as he is to his own high-stakes stunts. Real talk, his handclaps might have been a little off-beat, but the energy was 10/10.
