Solidcore is officially expanding its footprint, snagging a new location at The Langdon, located at 1695 Second Ave. and East 88th Street. This building, developed by Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners, is right in the heart of the Q line's luxury corridor. While official specs haven't been confirmed, JLL marketing docs are floating a number around 2,507 square feet.
Matthew Schuss and Jesse Wolff from JLL handled the landlord side of the deal, while Sean Young from Sabre repped Solidcore. Schuss mentioned that the brand's premium vibe is a perfect match for the building's aesthetic.
The Neighborhood Glow-up
If you're an Upper East Sider, the area is lowkey becoming a major destination. Aside from getting a new place to crush your workouts, the block between Second and Third Avenues is seeing some serious retail action. Happier Grocery is setting up shop in the old movie theater at 210 E. 86th St., and we’re finally getting that long-promised H Mart at 223 E. 86th.
Why it matters
For the local residents, this is a W. Having a premium fitness studio and high-end grocers within walking distance adds major value to the neighborhood. It’s giving “everything I need in a three-block radius,” which is a total flex for your day-to-day routine.
