The legend returns

Guess who decided to bless us with a rare public appearance? Pat Sajak, the former Wheel of Fortune host, stepped out on October 8 to honor his "good friends" Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock of Air Supply. The rock legends were receiving their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Pat was there to give them their flowers—literally.

Lowkey comedy gold

Pat, 79, didn't miss a beat with his signature banter. He joked about his own 40-year tenure on Wheel, saying, "I understand the challenge of trying not to wear out your welcome," while praising the band for their 50-year run. He then dropped a hilarious anecdote about almost getting an "Air Supply" logo tattoo on his chest, but decided against it to avoid distracting from his, wait for it, "nipple ring." Real talk, his comedic timing has not aged a day.

Since passing the baton to Ryan Seacrest in 2024, Pat has been living his best life. He previously hopped on X to tell fans he's doing great, joking from a tropical pool that he’d moved to Montana to work with cattle. Iconic main character energy, honestly.

Why it matters

Pat Sajak and his co-star Vanna White defined an entire era of television, with over 8,000 episodes under their belts. Even in retirement, Pat remains a pop-culture staple, reminding us that there is definitely life—and plenty of humor—after the Wheel.
