London Calling
We are officially in the thick of it. Week 4 has arrived and the schedule is absolutely stacked. We’ve got the season’s first London game kicking things off at 9:30 a.m. ET as the Colts take on the Commanders. Both teams are coming off wins, but expert Pete Prisco is calling for a 31-30 thriller with the Colts snatching the W late. It’s giving classic international football vibes.
Sunday Slate Breakdown
If you’re tuning in for the 1 p.m. window, there is no shortage of drama. The Bills are 3-0 but looked shaky against the Chargers, and the Patriots are looking to bounce back after an ugly loss. Meanwhile, the Bengals and Jaguars face off in a battle of 2-1 AFC squads. Real talk: Lawrence has never beaten the Bengals in his career, and despite the Jags' hot streak, experts are still backing Cincy to get it done.
Over in Philly, the Eagles are struggling—they’re the only team yet to score in the first quarter—and they’re hosting an angry Rams team that’s looking to reset. Jordan Dajani is taking the Rams to win 26-20. Elsewhere, the Bears are favored by 8.5 against the Jets, and the Packers are looking to pick up a win against a Bucs team that is struggling to stay afloat at 0-4.
The Texas Showdown
Finally, we’ve got a massive battle for Texas pride. The Texans are 0-3 and their offensive line is lowkey a disaster, struggling with both pass protection and the run game. Tyler Sullivan is picking the Cowboys to roll into Houston and handle business, covering the spread and winning straight up. The vibes are off for Houston, and Dallas is looking for blood.
Why it matters
October is when we separate the contenders from the pretenders. With London games adding an extra-long Sunday and divisional races tightening up, these matchups are going to set the tone for which teams actually have main character energy this season.
