The Sussexes are back in their home era
It’s official: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are settling into their temporary U.K. home, and they are lowkey thriving. Nearly a month after moving across the pond with Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, the couple seems to be embracing the change of pace.
Their BFF and Alliance of Moms founder, Kelly McKee Zajfen, recently stopped by for a visit and, bestie behavior, she shared some super wholesome behind-the-scenes snaps on Instagram. In one pic, Meghan is holding Kelly’s 6-month-old baby, Jack, while another shows Prince Harry lying on the ground, letting the baby crawl all over him. It’s giving major main character energy in the best way possible.
Family time > everything else
Kelly captioned the post saying, “Family time is just what the heart ordered. With a side of mashed peas and fish n chips! All of it has filled my heart.” The group even managed to squeeze in some garden time, soaking up the sun with wine and close friend Marcus Anderson.
While Meghan has been keeping a low profile since the family touched down on August 26, Harry is clearly feeling the nostalgia. “It's wonderful to be back on British soil,” he shared with Hello magazine recently, adding that it’s been “really nice” to reconnect with old friends.
Why it matters
After six years of living in California, the Sussexes are navigating an extended (but non-permanent) stay in the U.K. with the kids already enrolled in a local school. It’s a huge transition, but based on the vibes in these photos, they’re handling the plot twist with total grace.
