The metal legends are back (again)
Real talk: Iron Maiden just pulled a total plot twist. The heavy metal legends were lowkey planning to take a break from live shows in 2027 to mark their 50th anniversary, but they’ve officially decided to extend their 'Run for Your Lives' tour instead.
Bassist Steve Harris explained that they were vibing so hard with their recent US and Canada shows that they wanted to hit the spots they skipped over, specifically in the North West and South East. Harris noted, “We can’t get everywhere but we can try!”
What to expect
This final leg kicks off April 14, 2027, at the Tacoma Dome in Washington and wraps up on May 11 at the UBS Arena in New York. To make things even more iconic, they’re bringing Bullet For My Valentine and The Raven Age along for the ride. It’s the first time since 1983 that Iron Maiden has toured with two other British bands on the bill—major W energy.
After the tour wraps, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will head to the Sonic Temple festival in Ohio on May 14 and Boardwalk Rock in Maryland on May 16. By the time it’s all over, they’ll have played a massive 107 shows.
How to get tickets
If you’re trying to catch the show, set your alarms. Artist presales start this Monday, Oct. 19, with more presales happening throughout the week. General ticket sales go live on Oct. 23. Say less, your mosh pit dreams are within reach.
Why it matters
This is officially the final chapter of the 'Run for Your Lives' tour. For a band that has been dominating the scene for 50 years, this extension proves they’ve still got main character energy and aren’t ready to stop giving the fans what they want just yet.
