Early Tuesday morning, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office got a terrifying call: a man had allegedly forced his way into someone’s home, brandishing a sword and forcing the resident outside against their will. Bodycam footage released by the sheriff's office shows the high-tension standoff, with officers repeatedly pleading with Smith to drop the weapon.
