Keeping the Vibe Check
Catherine Zeta-Jones is finally chiming in on her husband Michael Douglas’ new memoir, One Helluva Ride. In an exclusive interview with E! News, the actress admitted she actually hasn't had the time to dive into the pages yet.
Real talk: she’s been totally swamped. While Michael was working on his book, Catherine was busy filming season three of Wednesday and prepping for her new show Kill Jackie, which dropped on AMC+ on October 2. She revealed she only just snagged her copy of the memoir yesterday.
No Surprises Here
Even though she hasn't read the full book, Catherine isn't stressed about any of the tea he might have spilled. She noted that after being married for over 25 years, they’ve already spilled all their secrets to each other anyway. When asked if any of the public anecdotes surprised her, she kept it chill with a simple, "No."
So, what’s the secret to their long-standing partnership? Catherine says it boils down to being kind and having a "very similar, sick, dry sense of humor." Plus, giving each other "free reign" to chase their professional goals—like her role as a drug queenpin in Kill Jackie—keeps the relationship balanced. "He loves nothing more than when he sees the joy my acting brings me," she shared.
Why it matters
After nearly three decades together, the couple continues to be a Hollywood staple, proving that even when their schedules keep them apart for months at a time, they still make the effort to reconnect and celebrate each other's career milestones.
