The Injury Report Is Giving Chaos
Real talk, Week 3 is testing every single one of us. The league is currently a minefield of injuries, and it’s lowkey wrecking our fantasy lineups. We lost QB Jaxson Dart for the entire season (RIP), while Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams are also looking questionable for the next few weeks.
It’s not just the signal callers, either. The running back and wide receiver rooms are absolutely decimated. From Saquon Barkley and A.J. Brown to Puka Nacua and Malik Nabers, the star power on the sideline is highkey depressing. Even tight end Dallas Goedert is out, though we might finally see the 2026 debut of Brock Bowers, which is a massive W if you’ve been stashing him.
Pivoting for the Win
When stars go down, the strategy has to shift. With the Chicago and Washington QBs out, you should probably downgrade those receivers. On the flip side, keep an eye on the Giants' pass catchers now that Jameis Winston is stepping in for Dart.
If you need plug-and-play options, Jaylen Warren and Rashod Bateman are looking like must-start candidates this week. And if you’re looking for the true main character of Week 3, look no further than Chuba Hubbard. With Jonathon Brooks on IR, Hubbard is taking over the Carolina backfield and is easily the start of the week.
DST Check
Don’t overthink your defense. The Chiefs DST is set for a major bounce-back performance against Miami despite a rough outing last week. Meanwhile, maybe look for other options than the Ravens DST; going up against a high-powered Cowboys offense in Brazil is just not the vibe.
Why it matters
Fantasy football is a game of attrition, and how you manage this wave of injuries will literally make or break your season. Stay agile, monitor the updates, and don't let a few bad breaks stop you from securing the bag.
